With a background in environmental science and writing, Adrienne brings an innovative and critical lens to her projects as an Analyst at BrownFlynn. Her knowledge of environmental, human rights, and globalization topics lets her approach situations from multiple perspectives. In her role, she delves into clients’ business goals to see how each of the sustainability puzzle pieces can fit harmoniously for them. She is passionate about creating a sustainable world, one day at a time.
While at Gettysburg College, Adrienne conducted extensive research on trends in management strategies used at Gettysburg National Military Park. Through this year-long project, she learned how large entities control public land while involving natural resources and residents in the process. It set her thinking more deeply about the wide-reaching impact every company or agency has on its environment, leading her to sustainability work. At Gettysburg, Adrienne also led the campus LGBTQ community, which inspired her to advocate for human rights. Prior to BrownFlynn, Adrienne taught 8th grade science in San Antonio, Texas, through the Teach For America program. While teaching, she developed skills in communicating ideas, collaboration, and improvisational problem-solving.
Adrienne is a Cleveland native and is very happy to be back in the city she loves. In her free time, Adrienne enjoys hiking in the Metroparks and Cuyahoga Valley, practicing yoga, reading, and cooking meals with her family and friends.
