STUDIES: BRAND ENHANCEMENT
BrownFlynn and partners helped to launch the
Cleveland Carbon Fund with an engaging and
innovative identity system. BrownFlynn has also
created new looks for the Summa Foundation,
Cuyahoga County Public Library (CCPL), Lake Erie
College and MyCom.

STUDIES: STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT
By applying organizational stakeholder
analysis, BrownFlynn helped Fairmount Minerals
Ltd. (FML) identify key corporate social,
environmental and economic impacts and develop
FML’s corporate social responsibility plan.
BrownFlynn also partnered with JW Great Lakes
Wind/juwi to manage stakeholder expectations
around research efforts for potential offshore
wind energy development in Northeast Ohio.
CASE
STUDIES: REPORTING & CONSULTING
BrownFlynn has worked with Fairmount Minerals
Ltd. (FML) for over three years, producing their
2006, 2007 and 2008 Corporate Social
Responsibility Report in accordance with the
Global Reporting Initiative standards and the
United Nations Global Compact Communication on
Progress requirements. We produced volunteer and
community giving reports for Aon Corporation and
National City Corporation. This year, we
partnered with the Timken Company on their first
Global Citizenship Report.

STUDIES: STRATEGY & IMPACT PLANNING
BrownFlynn has experience identifying
strategic, operational and service opportunities
on both a local and regional scale – all of
which provided a strategic framework for the
creation of a first-ever Global Corporate
College model. We helped Fairmount Minerals
establish a sustainable supply chain policy in
2008, which won an Inside Business Magazine
Manny Award. And, in preparation for Timken's
first Global Citizenship Report we helped
identified goals and set performance targets for
measuring environmental and social impacts.
CASE
STUDIES: PUBLIC-PRIVATE PARTNERSHIPS
CVS/pharmacy is an industry-leading example of
partnering with national non-profits and
educational institutions to jumpstart careers in
pharmacy. BrownFlynn partners with Invest in
Children, Cuyahoga County's early childhood
initiative, to bring corporate and non-profit
organizations together for the benefit of young
children.

STUDIES: STRATEGIC PHILANTHROPY
In addition to working with Moen
Incorporated and Sky Bank (now Huntington Bank),
BrownFlynn created a signature program for
AmTrust Bank and the QUEST program for Fairmount
Minerals. BrownFlynn also partnered with
PolicyBridge to develop a social media marketing
campaign, which launched in December 2008.
